Whatever it is that I don't like about working on indie proiects, I no longer have an answer for. All that matters to me is that I love the work and am finally doing what I wanted to do since I was a kid. About 18 months ago I finally quit my job and committed to acting and after ONLY 2 projects (and 1000 emotions), I'd wondered why I was doing this. I decided that "how" was more important that "why" and that I'd forgotten about making choices. I can bend ears complaining with the best of them but hate wasting energy. Problems/issues are part of it regardless of the type of project. And the unchecked ego thing is everywhere. So I chose to focus and remember that I'm doing what I always wanted to do, and like anything else, there's always the not-so-good. Indie projects allow me to feel really involved; I don't get tense. Less is more. "Feature film" has this "oh wow" thing attached, but I've found that unless you're supporting, it's like being in rush hour. Everything is an emergency; not much feels in sync. Being involved in any creaative process as part of a team is ideal to me and this is like the foundation of indie work; it doesn't get much better. Amazing? I was asked for my insight into a mental health disorder that a character had; the director said he knew a lot about it but wanted to know not just what I'd seen/learned as a counselor; he wanted me to explain and then show him how the character would act i.e., body language; then he used my stuff exactly it in the film. gold star on that day.

I haven't worked with you yet Daniel but we love the idea that we can come here and purge ourselves and feel better LOL. All kidding aside, I hear you are a great person to work with. Maybe some day I will get to find out
