First off, I am Jeremy Tremp I lived in Phoenix AZ for 20 years and now I am back to Michigan going to film school!

I started up a company, Westward Entertainment to pay the bills and do what i love to do. I think its really awesome what you all have going on here. Im proud to say Michigan recently passed a bill giving tax rebates up to 40% on all films shot on Michigan

Anyways, Im posting here because being a DP is my main passion. My set up is as follows:

HVX200 with a Letus35 Extreme, Canon FD mount
Manfrotto 525mb sticks with a Bogen 519 head

I got hired on to be Camera Op on a feature being shot in Chicago this summer and Im working for points and equipment so I will soon have a redrock follow focus bundle and a carrion monitor! Lets hope they give me the Hi-hat and the matte box too

I heard of this company through Cori wich I met from my older brother Nathan. I just got done with the 24 hour film festival up here and I think we have a great shot at winning! Your a little ways up there but if your short is a comedy you should enter it in ComedyFest, you could win $250.

Yea I would love to, what exactly do you mean by made by no less than 4 people? Like producers? or editors? I guess what I mean is what positions do you not include in "Crew"

It pretty much breaks down like this:

1 Director
1 Editor
1 Writer
1 Cinematographer

That's the most clear cut 4 person project but obviously there are going to be instances where the camera operator also edits or the writer also happens to be the director. 4 is basically the number of main people working on the film. When you get 5 or 6 or more people working on these, it's hard to tell who really did what and each person's individual contribution. It's also better for you because there are less people to split the prize money with.

Use your best judgment but it should be a max of 4 people who are the real brains behind the film.
