TOPIC: When You're Not Filming

Re:When You're Not Filming 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Ooooh Emilio...I too once felt the lure of Guitar Hero. About a year ago, I pondered whether to get Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3: "Legends" of Rock (Morello and Slash are LEGENDS?). Anyways, I ended up buying Rock Band and was thoroughly pleased but still wanted GH3...so I bought it...and then returned it two days later.

Here are my problems with the Guitar Hero Franchise ever since Neversoft took over.
1. It's annoyingly hard. Like you have to play more than what the actual guitarist in the song is playing.
2. It's not fun. (See #1)
3. It looks like someone animated Chuck-E-Cheese robots into the video game

Guitar Hero: World Tour does look cool. The drums look very well structured (except I have no idea how you're supposed to keep that bass pedal from sliding around) and the songs are pretty good too; however, I cannot buy that game due to my experience with GH3.

When I'm not filming I enjoy a nice large glass of Kiwi Strawberry Green Tea from Pita Jungle. I ask for a TO GO cup so I can enjoy it all day long.

Now all I need is 75 degree weather and a little umbrella for my drink. Oh and a lounge chair and uh a good view.... maybe a beach, possibly some shirtless surfers.

Joy-back me up here.....

When I'm not filming, I decorate cakes, make lists of props, locations, and costumes for the next film, berate Daniel for forgetting to tell me he changed meeting times, organize food and emails for my weekly homegroup meetings, read a lot of chick lit (Sophie Kinsella woop!), oh, and yeah, I work. A lot. Like I stayed at work till 8 on Friday...I'm crazy, I know.

Cori, I'll back you up on the Pita Jungle although I haven't had that Tea there (now I gotta get it huh?)...I usually go for the yummy hummus with pita, or a gyro... Personally though, I'm not so into shirtless surfers...now some hot band guys playing music, or geeky boys talking about their latest electronics/cellphones/pda's/whatever...lol. Don't tell Daniel though - a bald (shaved head) guy hit on me at Walmart on Sunday! And he was kinda cute

I agree with the ridiculous difficulty. Luckily, I didn't pay for the game, my brother did. And he's obsessed with it so he became pretty good at it. I only play on my spare time and only on Medium difficulty. I haven't tried Rock Band, but the hardcore GH3 players (like my brother) make fun of it because it's "too easy". I say as long as it's fun, which I hear it is, it doesn't matter how "easy" it is.

I am cheap and therefore xbox-less PS3-less. My Editing Tower and Laptop double as my America's Army FPS machines. I play that game solely for the last 2.5 years and am a little nuts about it.

Best of all it is free online multiplayer tactical FPS put on by the US Army and the graphics are great!
