VerticalBlu Film's newest short film "Senator Obama, I
Have One Question..." explores the many increasing questions Democrats
are having about their Presidential Candidate Barak Obama.
What if you
could just sit down and ask the questions that need to be asked "face
to face."
I wanted to first say "Thank You" for everyone who has supported us as a film company!
As of the writing of this email, our latest film "I'm Voting Democrat"
has been viewed by more than 220,000 people.
We have received amazing responses and visibility as a result of your efforts in forwarding our video to your friends and family.
To date, "I'm Voting Democrat" has been featured on many conservative blogs like Little Green Footballs
and Urban Conservative
and has also been featured on KFYI 550AM
on the Bruce Jacob Show.
We are not only excited about IVD's success but also our next feature film"Life in Transit" .
In order to begin production on "Life in Transit", we need to raise the $25,000 budget needed to produce the film.
--Yes, that's right.
I did mean to say $25,000.
I know it sounds like A LOT of money but the great thing about VerticalBlu films has always been the community of fans and supporters that has always surrounded us.
VerticalBlu films are grassroots films.
What that means is that they are supported by many individuals striving to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
Our first feature film "Convenience" was produced for $1500, all of which was given to us by approximately 100 individuals giving as little as $15.
It was exciting to receive that support from our friends and family and show the results of our hard work at Arrowhead Harkins for the premiere screening.
We are confidant that with your support we can raise the necessary money to produce "Life in Transit".
Life in Transit
Life in Transit's story can be summarized in a few sentences:
Kyle plans to end his life, now all he has to do is manage the last few hours. Amy is hiding a secret with no desire to change the outcome. Jack is trying to make a quick buck and move on unnoticed. Lydia is escaping her overbearing boyfriend, while Beverly is dealing with the recent loss of her husband. Multiple lives, one bus and a chance to change the future of the person sitting next to them, but will one person pay the ultimate price while the others find freedom?
Life in Transit:
A story about choice not coincidence, creating your own destiny, and the power to change the life of a stranger.
